Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 May 2026

1. Introduction

CaliMaster Pro ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our web application and Garmin Connect IQ companion services.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account data: email address, authentication credentials (passwords are hashed), and account preferences.
  • Workout data: exercises, sets, repetitions, durations, rest periods, and workout structures you create.
  • Diary / session data: completed workout sessions, timestamps, heart rate data, volume metrics, and training zones imported from or synced with Garmin devices.
  • Device / sync data: Garmin device identifiers, pairing codes, and sync timestamps required for Connect IQ integration.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and crash logs for service improvement and security.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract: to provide workout building, sync, and diary features.
  • Consent: for optional analytics and marketing communications.
  • Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, security, and service improvement.
  • Legal obligation: compliance with tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To store, display, and let you edit your workouts and training diary.
  • To sync workout data to and from your Garmin device via Connect IQ.
  • To generate analytics such as muscle balance maps, volume trends, and frequency heatmaps.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To communicate service updates, security alerts, or support responses.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Garmin: workout data is transmitted to Garmin Connect IQ services so it can be delivered to your Garmin device. Garmin's use of this data is governed by their Connect IQ Privacy Policy.
  • Payment processors: to handle subscription billing securely.
  • Hosting / infrastructure providers: our backend runs on managed cloud services that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Workout and diary data is retained until you delete your account or specific items. After account deletion, we remove personal identifiers within 30 days; anonymised aggregated data may be retained for analytics.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no internet transmission is completely secure; you use the Service at your own risk.

8. Your Rights (GDPR & Global)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your account and data.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON or FIT).
  • Restrict or object to certain processing activities.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@calimasterpro.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies & Tracking

We use only essential cookies required for authentication, session management, and language preference. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies without your explicit consent.

10. International Transfers

Our servers and sub-processors may be located outside your country of residence, including in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards to ensure adequate protection.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
